That 1984 scenario really hit home after 9/11, and then again when the network news started broadcasting the Iraq Big MacAttack. Spooky. Now that all the peacebloggers are getting a brand-new file in the Homeland Security Office, I expect a new invention: an “eye” that can see us while we malcontents peck away at our keyboards.
