Magpie Tales #208

Poet’s Sleep, 1989, by Chang Houg Ahn

Stones hurl themselves
through windows
open to the lure of light,

filled with shadows
that divine the dawn.

  1. This is both a well written poem AND a wonderful take on the picture prompt. I read aloud. This one makes me read with a slight creepy tone, but there’s also a smile on my face. Kind of like the picture! Delightfully well done:~)
