facing the faces

I stayed up last night to watch the faces of our needlessly dead American soldiers move across my tv screen on Nightline So young. So many minorities. All I could think about was how their mothers must feel. And how insensitive ABC was to run pizza commericals between the segments.
Bash that Bush!

  1. Yes, it was very heart-wrenching, indeed. I couldn’t stop tearing up, especially after they would show 18-year-olds, 19-year-olds, young men and women in their early 20s, who didn’t yet look old enough to shave or have their first boyfriends.
It’s sickening to the heart and disgusting, this devaluation of Life…in the pursuit of “Liberty” which has had all meaning emptied out of it by now. jeeeeezus.
