Looking for a unique gift for a female book addict?

How about a loose t-shirt embellished with a colorful pieced-fabric applique featuring the cover of an old out-of-print and/or public domain book, including cook books, text books, and classic literature. Each applique is individually designed and sewn.

Women’s shirts have short dolman sleeves; are made of cotton, polyester, and rayon; can be machine washed and dried on cold and low settings, can be be touched up with a warm steam iron. T-shirts for children are 100% cotton with images from vintage children’s classic book covers. In colder weather, the shirts can be layered over long sleeved tees.

Does she love to cook? Give her a shirt with the image of a 19th century cook book cover. Is she a medical student? Give her a shirt with image of an early “Gray’s Anatomy” book cover. Does she love F. Scott Fitzgerald’s work? Choose from any number of Fitzgerald’s first edition book covers.

Self-published authors can provide an image of their own book covers. And, with permission from Ms Magazine, a limited number of shirts with the magazine’s 1972 inaugural issue with “Wonder Woman for President” are also available.

If you provide your own shirt, cost is $25. If I provide the shirt, cost is $35. Plus postage, if I have to mail it out.
