hot town, cool kid
I'm heading out tomorrow to join in the celebration of my grandson's fourth birthday. The day will be hot, but the kid is very cool, so I'm looking forward to spending a couple of days being a Grammy instead of someone whose name she doesn't always remember.

A friend sent me the link to your blog. I want to thank you. I have been blogging since my daughter was killed last November. My blog has centered around my grief, my life now that I am raising my twin grandchildren, and the changes I am going through in my life without my daughter. I used to be a productive, creative, vibrant woman. I have lost that person along the way. I may not find her again overnight, but you reminded me that I am still in here somewhere. I am not the sum of what I am going through, it doesn't have to define me.
