"Kill Bill"
"Kill Bill" -- a metaphor for amerika
(1st draft)
she’s the good guy, dresses
in yellow, drives a truck that
blares “pussy wagon” in bright
pink capitals
the bad gals wear black and
white and nothing is the way
we remember
except for faceless men
who reign blood on our dreams
in living color

Great first draft, Elaine. I love Taranturro's work -- the reincarnation, some have suggested -- of Orson Wells. Yes, nothing is the way we remember it; bad guys are the new good guys, who got replaced by worser guys. Some guys are gals.
I just stopped by to wish you a good Memorial Day. I am feeling ambiguous about this particular holiday this year, as it keeps flooding the carpet with bittersweet muck.
